The Great Bird Migration

The Great Bird Migration
By Charles Rachel

For many years, birds of all kinds have flown south for the winter. When I was just a young boy, I was often curious about why this kept happening each year. I soon learned this is because the weather gets to cold for many birds to survive in one place. So they have to migrate to a warmer climate, but when spring returns, so will they. I love to listen to the birds sing in the morning while I am waiting for my ride to work. There is nothing quite as relaxing as that.
