Bo and Luke just wanted to Have Fun

Bo and Luke were just having fun By Charles Rachel The Dukes of Hazard is one of my favorite television programs of all time. The show’s re runs have recently been taken off of cable television, because of the controversy over the meaning behind the confederate battle flag that appears on the roof of the famous car called the General Lee, named after confederate General Robert E. Lee of course. The flag features a cross in the shape of the letter X with about fourteen stars on it. It has been said that the flag represents slavery and a way of life that we as Americans don’t agree with or appreciate. This way of life is wrong of course, but it is unfortunately the way things were during this time. However, it should not be like that now. I do not agree with the decision to remove the Dukes of Hazard or any TV program from the air, simply because the confederate flag is used in it. The show makes no mention of the issues associated with the symbol. What will be next? Will our American flag be next because it represents our freedom? Why can’t we ever just leave well enough alone? We just might be better o ff in the long term if we did.

Night at the Museum

Night at the Museum By Charles Rachel If I was stuck in a museum after it closed, I would most defiantly go exploring everything to see what was there. I would also be interested in seeing if anything came to life like in the movie of the same name! I would also try to stay aware of any night security guards that might be watching and if they spotted me, I might try to pose as one of the exhibits for a while. Then I would get out of there if I could. I think it might be a fun experience to have, though I would try not to get locked in there all night. I hope some or the things there would come to life, so I would have someone to talk to. It might be a long night!
