My Irish Heritage
With Saint Patrick’s Day just around the corner, I thought I’d write about something not very few people know about me. I am part Irish, and part Cherokee Indian. However it is the Irish side that I am most interested in. I have discovered through investigating in my spare time that I am distantly related to the English. By this, I mean, the British royals also rule over the Irish people. I have never explored this side of my life before. I sometimes wonder what it might be like to have servants like the royal family does. However, there are people who help me when I need it. That is good enough for me. I have also had a little fascination with the royal greeting for quite some time. By this, I mean the bow or curtsy greeting given when someone is around a member of the monarchy. This happens rarely here, and that’s fine. However, I think this would be a fun experience to have, at least for a while. If I could have anything in the world, it would be to experience more of my Irish side. I might even like to be curtsied to just for fun. Only with those who may be willing, and only in a perfect world. This is not a perfect world though.
