Millions of Footprints

Millions of Footprints By Charles Rachel I was walking in the woods one day when suddenly I saw something strange on the path ahead. There were millions of tiny footprints coming out of the bushes, crossing the path, and disappearing into the bushes on the other side. I had some free time so I decided to follow the footprints and investigate. Upon closer inspection, the footprints appeared to belong to Chewbacca from Star Wars! How he crash landed on Earth, no one knows.

Medieval Mayhem

Medieval Mayhem By Charles Rachel Medieval Times is an interesting time period in world history for me, it is also a great place to get dinner and enjoy watching the battle for the kingdom take place. This is interesting to me because it gives me and others a chance to learn about what happens in other parts of the world, and how it is different from the way we are used to living in the United States. I have been fortunate enough to have visited Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament in the past, and I enjoyed it a great deal! I enjoy experiencing as much as possible in life.

My first Love

My first Love By Charles Rachel My girlfriend all throughout school was Aimee Buswell. In fact, I often think of her even today. However, when I was in middle school I started to develop a crush on another girl in my Science class. I don’t talk about it much and nothing came of it, but she felt it too. Her name was Misty Gamber and she sat in the back of the classroom. I soon started looking back in her direction and noticed her staring back at me the entire class time. This quickly became a daily occurrence between the two of us. The teacher soon noticed what was happening, but did nothing about it after seeing proof through my passing his class tests, that I was paying attention to his lessons, though I did not always keep proper eye contact with him. He understood why, and gave us the opportunity to work on the final class project. I have not seen or spoken with her since. Though she told her friends that she ate lunch with what she would like to do in great detail. Though all through school, my feelings for Aimee never changed.

My Trip to Catoctin Zoo

My trip to Catoctin Zoo By Charles Rachel I recently had the opportunity to visit Catoctin Zoo with some friends from the Arc Carroll County Day Program. We saw lots of neat animals there. Such as monkeys, birds, turtles, and some of us even saw snakes. My favorite thing to see was the turtles. We even had lunch there and took group pictures. This was a fun trip. It is also the first time in a very long time that I have been to the zoo. This trip was also important to me, because it is the last one I got to take with one of the members of the Arc staff as she is leaving to take a new job. We have agreed to stay in touch though! Congrats. Jen S.

The Beutiful Voice

The beautiful voice By Charles Rachel One of the ladies with the most beautiful voice I have ever heard, and there have been many is my friend from high school, Tracy Brosenne. I had the opportunity to hear her sing in school and I think she did an amazing job! I haven’t seen her in a long time, but she helps my niece in school. I often think about my friends and what they might be doing now. I have never forgotten Tracy or that experience in High School.
